I imagine he's reluctant because we'd be mental to sell him unless we had a replacement lined up. It's not Sullivan's fault Sakho has displayed the temperment of a child in the last couple of months.

I'd rather have a pissed off Sakho on the books than no-one.

Would of liked to of kept this lad but it seems damage is already done. Sell Enner and replace with a big name and I think we would of been looking very healthy upfront.

Can't agree with Sullivan's reluctance to sell there - it seems the window is hard enough to navigate without putting up extra barriers to progress, we're creating our own problems I think. It's very likely that we should have more actively negotiated Sunderland's initial offer for Sakho (rather than rubbishing it in the media). From the rumours it seems it was somewhere around £8m with £4m on appearances - a very fair offer imo.

I think some at the club and in the fan-base massively overrate the player. Yes he had a hot streak in front of goal and he works hard, but at this level he's mediocre. If only Sunderland and WBA are vaguely interested it tells you everything really.

“James Tomkins was different because we had a surplus in the centre-half department. But until we get at least a couple of strikers we can’t let any forward go.”

how much of the stories are true i don't know, but if it is true that he stormed off and faked an injury because bilic didn't start him against arsenal then im afraid that i don't want someone like that at my club. bilic believes in squad harmony, hence why he got rid of amalfitano. sakho also didnt endear himself to the club/manager when he supposedly refused to have an op on his back last summer, then spent the season in and out of the squad due to this ongoing issue.

decent player, but he seems to have a poor attitude. look at valencia. he isnt moaning. he isnt refusing to travel.

Sakho is clearly our best striker, are we really going to just dump him and take a chance on the 15th guy on our list who will undoubtably be untested in the Premier. I think we have this all wrong and we very much need to keep Sakho

If everyone is complaining of "moody africans," why would a move for Berahino make any sense? He was benched for 2 months last season for his attitude and threatened to strike. Also scored all of 7 goals (4 in the league).
